Dumped in 1.3 gals E85 to the 12 gals of 29% I had already. Should be up to ~35% E now. Fuel trims went +2.3 so that makes it a 10% maf freq shift for E35 so far. No pulls yet.

    Hmmmm
Than the factory performance display must be bogus when it is on AFR display.

I bet that the GM display software just uses a basic 14.7 figure divided by whatever the ECM lambda is for the display gauge....

No matter what blend of Ethanol I use, when lambda is at 1.0, the display gauge is always at 14.7

I have no rpd, so I use Lambda & fuel trims in HPT. Lean that thing out!

All our ECU knows is Lambda AFAIK.

    One pull tonight in 3rd & 4th, couldn't log a 60-100 pull though.

35% E in third at 6k is right at 5.6 ms on inj 1. Fuel trims going +1.6 above 5500, I think that's all she can do! Too bad I couldn't get a good time clocked. Had to start at 70 or so.

IAT2's in the upper 90's during the run.

I'll prob go back to 29%, that is 3:1 E10 to E85 once it cools off out. As always, no KR WOT. Still seeing a few degrees false knock on #4 in the midrange @ light loads.

    Addicted to korn!

I haven't really bothered to follow this thread... but I'll tell you right now that you still a bit have more left in it until you hit the *current* barrier.
5.6ms is the 'theoretical' injection limit, at the moment. You will know when your LNF hits that limit, as the power will drop right off a cliff.
Do I suggest you experiment with this limits? No. But if you're ambitious and careful it will put you that much further ahead.

If you are wanting to do the full on E85 in the future, you will have to beg HPT to find the injection timing tables for the DI system (unless this has been added since the last beta I acquired). They are the key to manipulating the DI 'window' to suit your IDC.

We still don't have wastegate control or several other tables we seek. Injection timing tables are off the radar I suppose. Thanks for your input. I would love to run E85 but am told we also need fuel pressure control.

Next easy step to try would be 40% or 1.5:1 E10 to E85, ...maybe... we'll see.

The fuel pressure tables would work... but they are still just a band-aid fix for the bigger problem.

At the moment, if you are simply concerned with running a high blend ethanol, you can sacrifice performance. It would be more of a 'just cause I can' thing, though, with no real benefit.
PM me if you want some info on that matter. I don't really want to post it up, cause I know some one is going to mis-interpret it and blow shit up.

You have to remember I'm skewing the MAF freq to bring the fueling trims in line. Most likely skewing the MAF lb/min also. About 10% now from E10 fuel. I've seen low 36's.

I got this thing breathin, Boy!!! lol.

I hit 290% air load this morning.

Naw, it isn't that much faster, the MAF readings are skewed. Honest.

I only see 250% load, but I did run 4.6 seconds 60-100 on the first meth adjustment from BYT. Flat fresh paved road.

You're much faster than I then. Mine's a slobalt. Be nice if I could hold 22 psi to 7k. That'd help us a bit.

So I've been running some e85 and inputted IABs timing and .90 lambda, changed the MAF slightly and had at maximum 1* KR at high RPM. I started with about 5:1, then put in 10:1.8, this tank was 9.8:2.5(obviously whatever was left before but not down to E) I'm going to put a little more e85 in next tank and see how if it rids the KR(doesnt actually pull timing) I havnt had very many WOT runs but seems to be pretty happy with it. I know my IAT2s were high since ambient was 100+ for a while today.

Upped the E to 40% this morning. No time to flog it though. LTFT's crept a little more positive, will try a few * more timing if time allows me to work on the file today.

I've noticed that with my EVAP connector plugged back in, it is causing my car to hesitate and stumble (never did this with straight E10 pump while it was plugged in). Anyone else noticing anything similar while running the E10/E85 blend? Car was so much happier with the connector pulled... Any ill affects to running the blended fuels and having the LTFT disabled? Or would it just be best to cap the EVAP line and keep it connected?

Broke I'm about to add some E85 to my next tank to rid myself of the occasional full boost knock. Im running 12.5 degress timing and my trims are pretty good. Any clue on how much E85 I should add to the tank for starters?
