2.22 with net framework checks removed

    http://files.hptuners.com/VCMSuite-2_22_NoLC.msi

Our Signed Drivers can be found here http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5228

For those that are getting a net framework error when trying to install 2.22 from your disk use this link.

For those customers that are still using the old serial interfaces(Start with 0000) use MSI edit to delete the net framework check in the installer, msi editor & instructions on how to do this can be found here http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showpo...6&postcount=22

Because serial interfaces stored the licenses in the software it is imperative to use YOUR software and not the MPVI software that is posted in this thread.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The link worked for me, although my virus scanner is going nuts over VCMEditor.exe

We haven't been able to recreate this so are pretty sure its just a computer specific issue. Until we can recreate it consistantly we won't be able to fix it.

I've been having an identical issue. I just re-installed my entire laptop to see if it solves the problem since there is no way to re-install .net 2.0.

If you run Win7 you need to right click the exe files ("VCM Editor.exe" and "VCM Scanner.exe" and run it in "windows XP SP3" compatibility mode. That fixes the issue above when you try to open or save files.

I am having the same problem. It left me without the ability to tune for weeks while I was trying to figure out how to fix it.

I ended up rebuilding the computer. It worked for a bit but now it is doing it again.

I tried the link but it still does it.

Norton antivirus also thinks that dw20.exe is a virus. I found an option to tell it to restore the file but that didn't seem to help.

I'm trying to let windows update the Microsoft net framework now to see if that will reinstall the missing dll.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe I have to reinstall the OS again. HP Tuners seems to be the only application giving me trouble.

This link as well as every other link trying to access a files.hptuners path is not working. Logged on here to try and download the latest to see if the Win7 issues where fixed, I tried about a month or so ago and never did get it working.

Sure would be great to be able to use this software I payed hundreds of dollars for again.

Looks like the downloads are working again.
