I am dialing in my part throttle down shifts to happen sooner. I have a 2800 rpm Yank Stall converter. I want to lessen the amount of TPS% increase it takes to cause a down shift. They (4>3, 3>2, and 2>1 downshifts) are currently set to happen with a TPS increase of ~20 - 25%.
I want to lessen the pedal travel to about a 15 - 18% TPS to cause a DS.
How will I know if I went too far? (i.e DS happens before stall is fully "spooled up".)
