I've got a 2005 Corvette that ran until the weather startting cooling off. It runs perfect but once in a while it will throw a 0101 MAF Performance code and the car will run rough, almost like its missfiring. Its a stock bottom end, AFR 205, 230/236 cam, made 490 on the dyno. Could the MAF be going bad or something else? We checked the wiring, connections and all of the hose clamps but everything seems fine.

Try cleaning the MAF signal wires. I know when my car had a maf I was having random MAF codes pop up and I took a q-tip and alcohol and very carefully cleaned off all the elements. I was surprised at how much dirt came off them. After I did that I never had a problem again.

Cleaning should help tons. If not, look at your MAF curve and see if it's goofy. Correct it if it is.
Gray Ghost- The abomination. 2007 Chevrolet Silverado CCSB. 98mm turbo, nitrous, 428LSX, Rossler 80E with a brake. Finally finished. 23 psi, no numbers, Slow as hell.
PBM G8- Aluminum 364, twin Precision 67/66 turbos, 6L90 trans swap, CTS-V/Vaporworx fuel system, slowly making progress.
Dads 2011 CTS-V- Stock bottom end, stock heads, LS9 cam, pullies, ported blower, ported TB, D3 goodies, and lots of nitrous.

Caterpillar 50 Forklift- Duramax swap
Problem still exists. Its very sporatic, car runs perfect, sets a code and runs slightly rough, reset code and it purrs. Both MAF curves are perfect. cleaned the connector and the MAF.
