trailblazer aftermarket fan kit tuning patch?

I have a client with a 2007 Trailblazer who wants a tune. He is purchasing and aftermarket fan kit that requires a "HP Tuners patch".

Anyone experience this? This is what the website for the fans says.

Our fan kits are designed to be controlled by a patch in the vehicle’s computer. The PCM must be patched with HPtuners tuning software. We include a link to download the patch in our fan instructions, so that anyone with HPtuners can apply it to your tune.

If you do not have access to HPtuners, we will patch the PCM for free at our NC location, you just have to cover return shipping. When shipping in your PCM please enclose a note with your name, contact information, vehicle, and which type of fan kit you have purchased so that we may patch the vehicle correctly.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PLUG IN THE FAN HARNESS WITHOUT A PATCHED COMPUTER.

If you wish to run the fans on an on/off switch that is fine, just DO NOT plug the fan harness into the vehicle (on an 08+ do NOT add the pin to the connector yet).

Which part of that tune is the patch that I should copy over to his tune?

I am guessing System/Fans.

What kit did the customer buy?

Do Trailblazers come with V6s? I can only find V8(which have the fan tables) and I6(which dont have the fan tables) on the repository.
