can I flash a 2002 bin file in my 2000 formula

I found a bin file from a 2002 Stock ls1 with Headers. they changed the timing, air/fuel, shift points, rev limiters, speed limiters, etc. etc. emissions codes removed. I have a 2000 formula with the same mods done. Can I flash the 2002 bin into my 2000 formula?

Yes you can do this but you have to have support for both years in order to do so

I have it for 98 and 2000 models. I didn't know what would happen since the two differant years have a few differant things like the ls6 intake vs ls1 intake, egr, etc.

Keep in mind that the 2002 .bin file will be setup for 28lb/hr injectors, whereas 2000 cars came with 26lb/hr injectors


So you'll want to tweak your IFR table if you do flash (You'd need to buy a 2002 license, then do a full PCM write to make your 2000 PCM run the 2002 OS, then change IFR... )

Also the 2002 Cam is different than yours and from your mod list you don't have an LS6 intake

Best bet is to open the 2002 file, and your 2000 file and any changes you want down copy and paste the tables, then reflash w/your 2000 .bin (modified)
