    Re: Zeitronix WB Settings in v1.5

    The following is the last formula that I got from Zeitronix which should be the "be all, end all" formula for their wideband.

    The table has the most accurate values. If you need to know AFR/V points between the ones in the table the best way is to interpolate.
    Here is a polynomial you can use between 10 and 14.7 AFR.

    LAMBDA = -0.0013V^6 + 0.0116V^5 - 0.0163V^4 - 0.0779V^3 + 0.29V^2 - 0.1994V + 0.7307
    AFR= LAMBDA * 14.7

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Zbigniew

    AFR =1.3127*V^2 - 1.2163*V + 10.428

    Keith,

    Put an update on the server , if would like me to test this formula out.
    I think this is the one we need for Zeitronix.
    Let me know.

    Re: Zeitronix WB Settings in v1.5

    New updates with new Zeitronix support for:

    Magic Chicken
    Dirk Diggler
    2000Firehawk

    Zeitronix 1 is the same formula
    Zeitronix 2: (1.3127*(V^2)) - (1.2163*V) + 10.428
    Zeitrnoix 3: (0.627*(V ^2)) + (0.457*V) + 10

    Now, you guys all seem to have different results. Some are off by .2, some are off by 1.... this is a real nightmare...

    What I need from you guys is this... If you could map raw voltage to the AFR, or build your own user defined list and see what works for YOU... It is hard for me to define 1 formula when you all seem to have various results..

    If you think you have a "magic" formula, let me know and I'll add it as Z4.. or Z5.. or Zn... cause this is ridiculous..

    Create large log files and try to vary AFR from 13-15 if possible... and send me your .hpl files, this helps me big time.

    Dirk Diggler doesn't have a Zeitronix, I do. He was heping me. I could help you if you wanted to give me the update Keith.

    This is the formula I have in my efilive and it seems to produce vaild numbers. for me.

    (0.627*(V ^2)) + (0.457*V) + 9.3508

    Dunno??

    Dave, check your email. I sent you back your logs.
    It appears from your logs that the +10 formula works "best" for your situtation. I haven't had a chance to check mine out and see what it is. It still isn't a constant. Here is a exapmple from his logs if anyone wants to know. All of these are averages.

    Zeitronix +10 +9.7758 +9.3508
    13.6976 13.71231 13.4881 13.06311

    14.6214 14.57669 14.35249 13.92749

    I just checked this formula as well.

    Zeitornix 1.3127*V^2 - 1.2163*V + 10.428
    13.6976 13.65333834

    This should address your problems.

    EDIT: Here is the link to the file for HP Tuners

    Hey Keith! This works how about a discount on my copy of HP Tuners. I will send you my LS1 Edit cable... Call it a free lance developers fee. A tax write off for you anyway...

    By the way.. I don't see how you are getting any good results with these other formulas:

    I inputed your formula into 2000firehawk's file and it seems to be off.

    Re: Zeitronix WB Settings in v1.5

    Unless he came up with those charts from actual logged data, they will be off. Zeitronix has such wide swings in V/AFR it's hard to get one formula right for many different units. It almost seems as if each unit is unique.

    Re: Zeitronix WB Settings in v1.5

    Your formula calls for ...+9.41

    When I used that with his data it was off. I altered the last value to ...+9.76671 and it plotted it just fine. I think the output from the black box might vary from car to car. It appears that your formula will work fine, just need to alter the last factor to each persons car. PITA

    Yes I agree you may have to adjust the Y intercept, I adjusted it slightly to fit as it is.

    I did not use any data... just the information from the green sheet from Zeitronix.

    Used this to come up with the formula.

    Plugged in the values.

    I don't have the software, but am confident this will be accurate enough.

    Re: Zeitronix WB Settings in v1.5

    The new formula is:
    y = -0.2662x^6 + 2.5665x^5 - 9.0496x^4 + 14.54x^3 - 10.127x^2 + 3.7873x + 9.4089

    I tried it against the values Dave had in his logs, and I'm off by maximum of 0.1 AFR, while the other formulas would go off as much as 1.12 AFR.

    I have all my work in an excel spreadsheet, I could post it if anyone's interested, or just wanna double check my work. Lemme know, and enjoy your new formula.

    I thought we all agreed way early in this thread , that the "Green Sheet" data was bogus for the Analog output ??
    Does anyone now think that the 'green-sheet' data is correct ?
