    VE Table Tuning Idea

While troubleshooting my MAF problem today, I desided to log all PIDs that had to do with TP and MAF. I logged a PID labeled "Mass Air Flow (Freq Error)". It reports in lbs/min just like the Mass Air Flow PID. It looks to me like it is tha calculated airflow that is used when the MAF is bad (like mine was or when doing SD tuning).

I believe this value is based off the VE table. If so, couldn't we log it and the MAF reading and use that to adjust the VE table (assuming the MAF is correct, which might not be a good assumption)?

This would be very easy to do with a pivot table in Excel. I can set the tables up easy enough but was wondering what everyone thinks about this before I try it.

Or, if you got your VE table correct, you could use it to calibrate a new MAF.
