What about map based spark values? Is that possible?

would you base it on RPM and MAP pressure?Originally Posted by 1998WS6
ya i was wondering the same thing for us guys who will be going MAFless.
you don't need it, the Cylinder Air axis on the spark tables is calculated from the VE table and is a more accurate measure of "load".

IS there more than one 3 bar map from GM or do you have to make the GN style work?????
Chris, the problem with the spark table is the Histogram. In a MAFless setup, the Historam only records data in one row. How can we log spark data and relate that data to the PCM tables?

i will fix the v6 cylair PID very soon. I have to do it for all V6 cals we support so it takes a long time as GM don't make it easy to extract this PID using normal techniques. We presently support 150+ V6 calibrations. I hope to have it done for 1.6 but time is running out, regardless it will be in 1.6.0 or a maintenance release soon after eg. 1.6.1.

now what are the values you enter in on KPA vrs. RPM
where would you then go to adjust the timing and spark?
