Setup scanner for WB: must be connected to car?

Is there any way for me to configure my scanner table for the aux inputs and outputs and then configure those inputs without actually being connected to car? I was told that I had to be. The problem is that I prefer to do all my work in the comfort of my living room and then just connect the laptop and go racing. Are there any shortcuts or am I missing something?

    TIA,
    John

I noticed the same thing but I found that once the laptop has been connected to the car with the enhanced I/O, the WB options show up even when you aren't connected.

yeah you have to connect at least once for the enhanced options to show.

Then you can change the parameters and options without being hooked up to the vehicle.
The scanner software just needs to know that you are now using the EIO interface. It will remember this option.

Yes, I see what you mean. I scanned at the track today and noticed the extra lines in the table display. I didn't play with them yet, but I'm sure it'll be fine now.

    Thanks,
