    Comparative performance?

This looks like a great suite and I can see buying it near
term (presuming it hits the street, near term). I am
wondering how the component parts stack up against
EFILiveV6 (which I already have) for the logger, and
LS1-Edit (which I refuse to buy).

For the logger, I picked EFILive over ATAP because of
its superior frame rate (24 channels at 10/sec). I also
went with the Pro version to get the bidirectional
controls (for test tuning / maintenance reasons).
Do you have some competitive performance matrix
of features, speed, bidirectional control functions
supported? Basically, would want to see that I'd be
losing nothing if I sold my EFILive copy to help recoup
    some of the purchase price.

Not knowing about Edit except what I read, there I'd
be wanting to know that you have more access to PCM
params (there are some transmission controls, in
particular, that Edit does not seem to touch, like the
TCC duty cycle profile and so on). From the look of
things your editor seems more flexible for the "power
user" but I am wondering if every stinkin' bit has its
own GUI-accessible tab or if some things are still
hex-editor only? If there are some params that are
not accessible in current version, is there a product
upgrade schedule that extends coverage over time?

Will there be an eval version of some sort (like an
editor and logger that go nowhere without the cable,
but at least show features and lack of blue-screen?

Glad to see this coming out and hope it can make
    me a bought-in believer.

    Re: Comparative performance?

    Thanks for the questions.

Our product stacks up very well against the competition. EFI Live is a very great tuning tool. Our goal is not to be the #1 scan tool provide out there but to provide the #1 complete tuning package all in one. Our scan tool software also supports 24 channels at 10/sec which is a very fast logging rate and does support VCM/PCM Command Controls (Bi Directional). Our scan tool has a standard table display, digital dash and a chart as well. Our scan tool is designed to be very easy to use for your average tuner. We do not support custom PID's for instance like EFI Live but our product should be enough for you to tune your car on the street and/or dyno.

Our editor is very user friendly. Ever VCM/PCM parameter (value) is converted to a readable # that you can understand. You won't see one hex character throughout the entire program. We feel our editor is very well organized and while at first it may seem a little over bearing with all the new parameters you can edit, we feel that after a few times you'll get the feel of our editor and like its useability.

We may put together a sample program but its currently not in the works.

And yes, you can kill the top speed limiter.

    Re: Comparative performance?

Sounds good. I don't need custom PIDs as long as I
can get the data stream out to Excel. Sounds like the
packages are what I need them to be. I'll be watching
your "Order" page for signs of life....
