read my stock tune a couple years ago and had it tuned.
later i went back to stock and got a trifecta tune.
today i went back to stock from trifecta and tried to flash a modified version of my stock tune that i altered myself with the same hpt module that i used before but now it says the "File OS ID does not match VCM OS ID".
whats going on? could the trifecta be messing it up?
for some reason it wont let me attach a .png screen shot.

It means your original operating system is different from the trifecta one and you need to do a write entire to change operating systems.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

so all i need to do is load my stock tune and do a write entire? is that a risky flash? i thought i read somewhere a while back that it was. im guessing the trifecta tune didnt copy MY stock tunes OS and just used a generic stock tune OS which caused this problem.
ill try it out tomorrow and see if it works. thanks.
