AFM/ DoD on Gen5 camaro active only when cruising

Yesterday, I was working on my buddys very modified C6 A6 Corvette. I wanted to run a fast learn program through his 63000 mile transmission with a 3600 Stall.

I was bored last night and started looking at the settings on the Gen5 Camaro's because of the AFM/DoD.

Everyone wants AFM/DoD deactivated, but I think you can increase the threshold in MPH when you want the AFM to be active like on highway cruising

I changed this screen shot to show that you need to meet the Minimal VSS Hyst which is normally set at 1 MPH and to be cruising above 60 MPH to active the AFM/ DoD.

Actually, in HP Tuners it say the Min VSS Hyst is added to the VSS min, so calulations would indicate DoD would become active at 69 MPH and your back on 4 cylinders.

    Any one try this yet??

I have had the min vss set to 55 mph on my 2010 since about 2 weeks after I got it in 09 and it works great. I never here it with long tube headers, high flow cats & fairly loud exhaust & get 24mpg on long highway cruise's.
