    Scaling on Spark table?

I have a boosted motor and was wondering about the scaling on the map.
Across the top is RPM and down the side is G/cyl like 0-120. My questuin is how does 0-120g/cyl corolate to vacume to boost? Is 120 up boost?
I have used the calculator to transfer my log over to G/cyl from lbs min and find diff points to compare but am still lost. I am used to tuning maps for
speed density like fast etc. I am trying to get an idea of where the boosted
versus vacume areas are located to make sure timing is pulled back for safety before tuning. Thx Ralph

I don't think it directly transfers. G/sec is just a mass of air and the more you boost the denser the air will be. Even when the motor is pulling vacuum it is still moving air, just at a slower rate. My car runs about .76 or so g/sec WOT, if I was to add say 5psi of boost on top of that I will end up higher than that, where I can't really say.

Maybe someone else knows some formula that could help you out?

Maybe you can run the car will minimal boost (0 would be best, like N/A WOT) and see where it runs in the spark table, then everything from there up you would know would be in a boosted area.

I have a boosted motor and was wondering about the scaling on the map.
When you say this are you saying you are running a 2 or 3 bar map on the factory table structure?

Can I use the histogram for this? Or maybe a nother method from logging? Thx Ralph This stuff is cool!!

Yeah, you can use the histogram (advance). That would show you where you are running.
