Need help installing on new computer

Well I had been using an older computer for all my HPT needs... was working great, and then the USB port decides to say F U. BTW, 1 never worked, the only working one was the one that said F U. Soo, No USB ports.. Figured no big deal, use a different laptop...

Get to installing on a new computer.. download scanner and editor from the HPT main page.. and now it's saying I need to use the disk to install the software for the MPVI interface.. Thing is, I lost my disk a long time ago so I do not have it anymore.. Sooo what do I do?

The computer I'm trying to install it one has Windows Vista also.. if that makes any difference.

Uploading pics of what the computer says....

I clicked "I don't have the disc. Show me other options"

I clicked "Check for a solution"

I clicked "Check online for a solution now"

Thank you. Waiting for laptop to charge so I can go hook it up to the car.

Or wait.. Can I just plug my HPT cable into my computer like while i'm in my room? Or does it need to be connected to my vehicle AND the computer?

Just needs to be connected to the computer, not a vehicle.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

A wise man once said "google it"

Scanning the vehicle works now.. However it's not letting me upload a tune to my car.. it won't let me pull one of my .hpt files up in VCM Editor

    says unable to open file
index was outside the bounds of array.......

I clicked write entire and I did that... then just saved that File.... Now, that's the ONLY file that I can open in VCM Editor..

    goto customer page
    http://www.hptuners.com/customers/

See if you have the link for Beta there, if not email support with your serial number and they will put the link there.

Emailed them.. Now will I just have to keep refreshing that page for the beta? Or will I get an email back?
