how and where do you regestier your HPT # and stuff???
I cant find, guess im blind :-/
also, i can use and log in the scanner fine, but I can open anything in the editor or flash. says cable is dissconnected???

no need to register, your cable ID is your logon and the email you pay palled from is your password.... you can access the customer support section for downloads...
Regarding the cable... what error is it giving you? if you can scan but not flash sounds like you're flashing an unsupported vehicle or a bin that you don't have support for...
You can verify this by going to help and about I believe... it'll show you what you're licensed for... you can read ANY .bin file , but can only modify and write ones for your vehicle (that you have support for)

when you try to read the PCM you've turned teh scanner off right? If the scanner is on then it's using the cable so the flash software can't read/write
