questions about tuning
1) Go to Edit --> Engine --> IDLE -->IDLE AIRFLOW --> IAC Park Position Airflow vs. IAT: Raise all points from -40C and up to 21
2) Go to Edit --> Engine --> IDLE --> IDLE AIRFLOW -->Idle Airflow vs. ECT: Idle Air In Gear: All points 68C and up to 8.6 (Mine are at 9.6). This menu RIGHT HERE is the key to idle.
1) what does the number 21 represent ? and what happens when you raise or lower this number
2) same question as above different number

Unless the car absolutely doesn't idle with the stock settings I would let the computer learn and then use the method listed in the link above to take the correction back out of the computer.
If you need the car to start and stay running then maybe it would be a good place to start, but I say maybe because I haven't tried it myself.

just have a bad cold start surge, after warm up it idles fine....still wondering what is actually happening when the above numbers are adjusted..i.e. allowing more air by moving IAC pintle ? I was looking for why and what, not actually the results there of. thanx
