What pcm do I have?

I have currently an aftermarket pcm and I don't know how to tell what year it is?
I also understand that this PCM is "Locked" what can I do about that

I am interested in buying someone's tuner, and these are the issues I have with this tuner.

if you could shed some light on which tuner I should buy?

Our software is designed to use on stock PCM's. It can however be used on other PCM's as long as none of the identifying marks we use have been deleted or falsified.

Also, depending how your PCM has been locked it may not be possible for anyone else, even a dealer to reflash it to stock.

Several users on this forum (FastFieros for example) offer a "return to stock" service. Although, you'll have to contact them regarding aftermarket PCM support.

Can I go to a junk yard and buy any 99 GTP pcm and then just buy the 99 GTP Software and it will work?
