Different Car Brands requires totally new VCM?

Not sure if this has already been asked but I didn't find any such thing...

I currently have a VCM Suite Pro Version for GM.. if I wanted a Pro Version for Ford as well.. what would I have to buy? Just the scanner pro, or the entire VCM Suite Pro for Ford? And I guess... would I get any kind of a discount since I already have one of your full version products? May as well ask right? Lol

You would have to buy ford credits, nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, the obd2 port is pretty standard across all makes.
