I'll be at his house this weekend starting the tune on his '06 vette, and we'll see if he even wants to pursue the focus. In which case i'll locate the pcm and get some #'s off of it.
- I'm still learning this whole thing so be gentle....i'm assuming 2.25 is the newest revision....but how do you go through every controller till you find the correct one? I assumed it was plug, read and then play. After reading this I'm now thinking its not just plug 'n' play, but that's there's also the option to change some settings in EDITOR and hook to more controllers?I can have you read it with 2.25 but you'd likely need to go through each and every controller until you find the correct one

Its plug and play for vehicles we support, for oddball applications where we don't exactly know which pcm its using you'll need to try reading it as the pcm type you think or know it is. ie I know a 2010 camaro v8 uses an E38 pcm as does our software so it will read it as such, I don't know what pcm the focus uses(nor do you) so at that point its a guessing game, could be copperhead, could be green oak, could be black oak, could be spanish oak, could be bosch, could be some other.
Bottom line is our software is plug and play with the exception of oddball applications.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
A wise man once said "google it"
AFAIK, all of the 2011+ 2.0 and under engines are running Bosch units. 2012 and older 2.5s run Oaks.
If its an Oak, we have it covered. We should have Bosch PCM support soon for the Fords.

How about support for the 2014 Ford Focus ST ?
Thank you Sir, i'll keep an eye around this.
Eric, i know you said support for the focus st would be a long shot, but let me ask you because i was able to connect the scanner in 2.24, and read some basic parameters.
Would i need to add some sort of support for ford vehicles to be able to read Ford pids? Or what i was able to read with the current 2.24 version is all im going to get?
Ill email support to get 2.25 if ill be able to read ford pids with it.
When i bougth hpt i think i just licensed the thing for gm vehicles only.
Thanks one more time.

Thanks a lot Eric.
Are you still accepting reads from the cars mentioned in the first post? Just picked up an '05 Crown Vic Police that I am going to use as a swap into my '75 F100 and support for it would be awesome! Let me know if you still need reads and I will get it there!

Do you guys have support for the 2002 - 2004 Focus SVT ?
Thanks!
I can grab a read for a 2002 focus svt if it will help. We would really like to tuners it using hpt if possible.
Absolutely no clue even what a strategy id is, haha, but I can find out if you tell me where to look tonight.

Got this by plugging in the SCT handheld flash device. Hope this helps. It said it was unable to locate the VCM. Do I need any kind of beta software or is this to be expected if it is not any type of ecu that it recognizes?
