2000 Mustang 3.8 Support any time?

Is there any ETA on support for the older Mustangs? In my case a 2000 with the 3.8 v6?

Looking for something like HPTuners as the car is now boosted and looking for something better then the
hand held garbage tuners out there like the Predator.

We are working to add support for EEC-V, but it is a lower priority than the new models that are coming out.

That's because you need an MPVI 2. Look at the supported vehicles list.

I wish the older Ford stuff, including F-series, had the same support as GM. Maybe HPT team doesn't quite appreciate the large market out there for it. I get they're focused on Global B development right now, but this seems like a no-brainer.

Glad I haven't 'upgraded' my MPVI.

From a business perspective it wouldn't make sense financially with the amount of money time and resources it would take... I would think.

I've got over 10 years in development on my own custom strategies and that's just the most common ones. It would take a dedicated team to do them all and for little benefit as the more time ages on the less demand there will be for it.

OK, so for you guys with an MPVI3 I have news. If you PM me your device serial number, I can add you to the beta firmware list, and we have a beta firmware that is pretty solid for EEC-V now. Its not quite ready for public release, as we need to do more testing on non-EEC vehicles that use J1850 to ensure everything works great, but if you have an EEC-V vehicle, all the feedback I have gotten so far has been positive.

I intend to cover all the EEC-V strategies from 99-2004. I expect to have all the popular ones done within a couple of months.

Wow Eric that's awesome. I know its a strange platform to request, but I have a 2002 explorer 4.0 that I would love to be able to tune. Would this be covered in that? If so is there anything I can do to help? Thanks

Will there be any improvements for the MPVI2 data logging on EEC-V? Or is an upgrade to MPVI 3 going to be required?

    Thanks
