Gauges read zero and runs rough after flashing tune

2013 corvette grandsport. After flashing a tune the car is hard to start, runs rough, check engine light is on and all gauges read zero. If I disconnect the battery for a minute the car will start and run fine. Why is this happening. It's the first time I've encountered this issue using HP Tuners. I don't want to have to disconnect the battery everytime I flash a tune.

Did you try checking the codes it was throwing? That could very well be your answer depending on the codes. Post which codes it's throwing. Maybe post a log of it running like ass.

It throws every code under the sun and also says engine hot ac off. Apparently this is an HP Tuners issue as others have had same issue. This is the only car I've had it happen with. A real pain to have to unhook battery after every flash so hoping someone from HP Tuners can chime in

Just use the scanner to clear all of the codes. It happens once in a while.

So if I flash and this happens just shut down, clear codes with scanner and restart? Reason I ask is that it happens everytime I flash the car and I had to unhook battery. Any way to fix the real root of the issue? I plan to finishing tuning the car this weekend.

Clear them while it runs. It'll revert to normal.
