Can the current MPVI interface scan Ford vehicles or will that require a sofware update? I'm not yet concerned with reading or editing, I'd like to be able to scan and log first.

It won't work just yet, Fords don't have any of the high speed goodness that GM does.

The Aussie BA Falcon does not however..

Yeah,. Definatly not BA, unsure of BF... but because the BF has individual cam adjustments where in the BA it does not, is what suggests it might have rapid packet
