Looks like the early GM stuff is the most popular. Although, I SHOULD be able to make the HW universal.
This would work with the 30-0300 and the 30-0310 ( plus the 30-0350 ). I would try to keep the cost to about $50. Which, is the difference between the street prices for a 30-0300 and a 30-0334. But, volumes are probably going to be pretty low.
Sounds pretty slick, I'd likely be interested in a one for GM.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
Any updates?
Working on how to keep the price down, while making the installation easy...
Cheap, Reliable, Fast conundrum!
I'd be Interested but I'm in Canada so I'm not sure if shipping both directions would be prohibitive. I'm sure there's a way to make it work so put me down as a yes for a gen3 LS friendly version

This would not be a re-flash . The 30-0300 does not have the electronics to do J1850. It would have to be an external device that connects to the 30-0300 via CANbus and the vehicle J1850 via an OBDII passthru cable, like the 30-0334 has. So, shipping is one way But, since it is hardware, I have to make sure that I don't get caught with my cheese in the wind, so to speak; if HPTuners were to suddenly make the CAN+J1850 mode work. Or, AEM were to make a J1850 enabled version of the 30-0334 ( 30-0335 ? )
Because AEM has come out with an already OBD enabled gauge, do you think they would bother with the 0300? I don't think they would bother, but who knows... HPT on the other hand, would be nice.
Either way, I am in the middle of wiring mine up via AC pressure until your's is available. If your upgrade does not pan out, I will probably upgrade to the OBD AEM gauge.
I don't THINK AEM would make a new gauge, just to cover non-CAN OBDII applications. If you look at the PCB inside that gauge, there is ZERO room for the extra parts for J1850, etc.
But, HPT could come out with new HW, or, even, a sw/fw update. Which would leave me holding an inventory of obsolete parts ($). When I did the CAN re-flash, all I invested was time. Maybe I should do a kickstarter or something.
I'm in, using a GM (411 updated LT1) PO1 12212156 -> 1251002 controller.
I probably need to build about 20 at a time to keep the price down. Making one of anything is expensive.
I will have to run the numbers. Update in a bit.
