    ABS without ECU?

I have the same thread on LS1Tech, but it's not getting many looks, so here goes.

A freind of mine wants to run his car (01 Z28) in a road race series where stock ABS is allowed, but you have to use a carb, so the ECU has to go. My question is does the ABS system get any data from the ECU like vehicle speed? I know each wheel has speed sensors, but without knowing the tire size the ABS has no idea how fast your going unless it assumes stock tire size. What data to they share if any? Thanks.

I don't quite know the answer to your question, but here are some wire diagrams of the ABS system with and without traction control.

The first one says 3.8 motor with traction control.
Do you have the one for 5.7, without?

Sorry about that, I must have posted the wrong one. I'll upload V8 one when I get home from work.
