A4 to M6 Conversion speedo error

I just did an A4 to M6 conversion on my 98 Z28. Now my speedometer is way off; like showing 20 mph @ actual 50 mph. I downloaded a stock '98 M6 bin file and copied my tune over to it. Then I reflashed the computer, but it is still off. I have 26" tires with 3.73 gears

    Any ideas?

what version are you using that its saving in bin format still? I checked the calculations on a 98 hpt file I had and the vss/mile, vss/rev-trans, & trans revs/mile were all completely different then what your bin says...Maybe there was a bug in the version your using and thats why its fubard.

    I got:
    48896
    17.0000
    837.3632

    compared to your
    115140
    40.0000
    2878.5936
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I am using 2.16 I just saved it as a bin file. All I did was change the extension from .hpt to .bin. I will include the corrected one this time

I know the numbers look a little out of whack

one way or the other i think your vss stuff is off which is why your file isnt working correctly.

I cleared out the numbers and recalculated. I came up with:

    49176
    17.000
    842.1679

I will reflash and see what happens

    Thanks for your help.

That did it. It is reading correctly now. If I can get my idle working right, I will be good to go.
