Just tried it again with 3.1.336 and the 4 parameters all stay blank. I'm using an LM-1 I sent my info to tech support.

Here is the stuff for the AFM1500 from ECM.
I can do some testing for this if you can get it implemented. Thanks

I had a truck in today figured I try again. Version 3.1.343 with LM-1 all 4 serial parameters still stay blank. I tried removing all channels but the the 4 serial and that did not change it. Maybe it something I'm doing wrong? is there a specific procedure to get the serial to hook up? like having to turn it on? It hooks to log works every time I try to make sure the connection is good. I sent all my files to tech support. Thanks
Quick question, if I am interfacing an AEM 30-0310 WB and did ....Add Channel>External Inputs>Serial Port>AEM>AEM - Lambda. Should the Channel value being displayed be in Lambda or AFR? The setup I just finished with a client showed Lambda but displayed 14.7..... which apparently you can't change the stoich value say to the tunes 14.2 either? Am I doing something wrong?
Version SW we were using was 108.
Thanks,
Ed M

Is that the CAN based one or a different one? Are you wanting to do serial or CAN?

The serial output of the AEM widebands is in AFR w/ a 14.7 stoic value. It IS adjustable; BUT, it requires CAN interface to set it up. And... if you already have the CAN interface, you are probably not using the serial data.
But, I think there is a ( bug/feature ) on the 30-0300 ( gauge version ) where it will output Lambda, if the gauge display mode is lambda.

There is an AEM - Lambda param for serial output. I added one for both, AFR and EQ Ratio.

Then try the AEM - AFR one instead.

Tried using serial output today on the AEM 30-0300. I was able to get it to display but the AFR is being rounded off.

That's how it comes across the serial line.
You have both parameters available to you so you, the user, can determine what is appropriate, and give you a parameter that makes sense and is convertable, etc..
We got this guy Not Sure, ...
The AEM serial output is only 3-digit. i.e. :
14.7<cr><lf>
14.7<cr><lf>
14.7<cr><lf>
14.7<cr><lf>
14.7<cr><lf>
... etc.
To be compatible with the older units, the 30-0300 uses the same format. It does not change w/ the display digits settings.
Except, IIRC... if you switch to lambda display, the serial will output 10X lambda. as in ( for Lambda 1.00 ) :
10.0<cr><lf>
10.0<cr><lf>
10.0<cr><lf>
10.0<cr><lf>
the decimal point does not move.

Yes I heard that also but this customer is not using a display just the interface to HP Tuners....and you can't change the stoich value to say 14.2 if set to E10 in your tune so that is still yet another gyration you have to go through. I correct all in genrating stand alone Math Parameters....unless I am missing something on the 30-0310.

Unfortunately, the only way to change the fuel constant ( from 14.7 ) is via the CANBus API.
I am pretty sure that they thought that nobody was going to use the serial output.
If you have the MPVI Pro, you can use the 0-5v analog interface. It is actually better than the serial. It has gound offset compensation. And, full speed data.
If you want to send it to me, I can give it the OBDII re-flash and change the fuel constant to 14.2
