    2 bar operating system

I have the 2 bar operating system for an LS1.
I have done an engine swap to an LS2.
Can I put an LS2 tune (from the repository) into the LS1 2 bar ecu?
Do I need to return to the OM operating system before loading the LS2 tune? If so how do I do this?

Just load the LS2 tune in but do a full write.

Make sure your ls2 isn't a 54x reluctor. I'm pretty sure the 0411 won't run the ls2 unless you either convert the reluctor signal or change the reluctor itself.

Some Ls2's had the 24x reluctor wheel though. If you do, I would change over the differences and tune instead of doing a write entire as they may have different PCMs and that won't work very well.

    It's a 24x reluctor.

Tried to load an LS2 tune from the repository but wouldn't accept it. Some of the tables are different (LS1 vs LS2). Do you need to change the operating system to make an LS2 tune work in an LS1 (1999) PCM? - Bill didn't sound hopeful.

It's easier to just copy over or change certain tables that you know you are going to need and start from there.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
