I just can't get over the fact that the analog output is faster than the can network output...

OK, anyone have the part number handy for the extra wiring piece needed to convert it to analog? At least that would make it compatible with multiple generations of vehicles and possibly make it read better than my lambda pro for once? Then I would have two nice widebands for bank to bank tuning

These are the pins you want:

    https://www.digikey.com/product-deta...8-1-ND/1989509

Add them here on the connector. You HAVE to connect this new ground to the ground pins on the HPT interface.

Thanks Carson - Is there any need to keep the OBD portion hooked up or is there some other unforeseen consequences? Just don't see a point in having it if it won't be used anymore...

Nope, you can remove the pins or cut the wires and heat shrink them or whatever you prefer. Won't cause any issues.

But, that requires special software to send CAN commands to the WB's CAN API.
    Is the API documented anywhere?

I have some pretty close up pictures of the chips used in the unit, if that would help at all.

That probably won't help with the API stuff... I can do CAN frames in my sleep, I just need to know what to send.

Remember that our current MPVI AD input processing averages 10ms worth of data, so your results are 0-10ms old, and averaged.. We didn't have this before, and every sample was passed in real time, but people complained about jagged lines.

I'd recommend having it see into the future with the next firmware update, that way there is no delay, and we get 10ms of averaged data too

Unfortunately, the API is not public, for now.

I would like to see a pic of your setup on the connector for changing it to analog if that is what you did. I still see a signal lag or some delay going into PE just like with my old NTK AFX. It shows a lean spike on the hit every time. I do not know if that is just the signal delay and it is not really a lean spike at all. I see in the channel for the PID you can select a different polling rate i guess? I think mine is on 200hz but have to make sure. WOuld changing that help in any way?

Of course. Set the logging rate as fast as it will go.

The lean spike is probably real. Not uncommon

my lean spike is not error but the actual WB is reading a massive lean condition and maxes at 2.0 lambda.

happy to report that I got my 30-0333 in this past weekend and worked the first time I tried it. im happy with it, but it looks like I too have a slight tip in lean condition and tip out rich condition so I will probably have to start with upping my manifold volume little by little.

if anyone is interested im working on wiring up my AEM OBD2 cable with a obd2 extension (from obd2cables.com) that I will have the extension located elsewhere instead of on top of my leg and will have the 12+ wired to a switched source and have an aeroforce all wired into the AEM obd2 wiring as well. been working on a wiring diagram and will post it here if anyone is interested.

Changing intake manifold volume will fix tip in/out lean/rich conditions?
When arguing with an idiot, make sure he isn't doing the same thing....

Yes - saves having to mess with all the individual transient tables...
