Thread: How did you guys hook up the LM1 to the interface?

How did you guys hook up the LM1 to the interface? There are 3 wires, the ground is obvious and goes to # 5 on the interface. I have the Red wire hooked to the #1 position and the white wire hooked to #2. When I tried to read the #1, no way! The #2, reads, but the reading differs from the readout on the face of the LM1. I used the LM1 default in the program. What am I doing wrong? The HP Tuners reads Richer at Idle and leaner at WOT than the display on the LM1.

Listening, as I also use an LM1.

    1) program both to match
    2) Hook red or white LM1 wire to the EIO port
    3) Ground goes to ECU ground

Your problem is the LM1 and HPT are not programmed the same curve.

I did hook the wires to the interface, they are both programmed the same. The red and white wires don't appear to have the same out put. I am using the default LM1 config from HP tuners. Nothing matches up to what the LM1 box is showing for AFR.

The red wire, If I read that, reads way lean. It's probably a simulated narrow band output. The white wire reads closer, but not close to what the LM1 box puts out.

Deafening Silence! I guess it's a voltage offset?

What are you using for voltages(0 volts 10AFR and 5 volts 18AFR)? And what works best for sampling rate with the LM-1? Thanks.
