    Optimum Power Mapped Point

Probably tuning my first Ecoboost tonight and I think after looking at the tune I understand how to add boost using the turbo settings and torque management engine torque so I don't have to mess with driver demand just to make more boost.

My big question is do you guys normally enable Optimum Power mapped point when tuning an Ecoboost? This is a 3.5 F150 by the way.

It really matters on what you are trying to do. You do not need to enable it (most of the Eco Boosts I do, I do not enable). It would be easier to tune WOT if you do enable it. Just make sure that map point is tuned.

I did not enable, tuned timing tables individually. Use the highest octane fuel you can sustain in the tank. If you can run 93 or 94 that is a huge help. Tuning one for a friend and even at 91 octane it was pulling a couple of degrees(3.5*), but was pulling 7* with 89 in it. I'd like to see nothing below 93 from now on in this one if at all possible.
