purchased new pro and it wont datalog

I was able to flash my car but it wont datalog. Ive tried repolling with no success. Any help?

3.2. I didn't see an error. The parameters just won't read. I tried on 2 ctsvs and my wife's Tahoe. It connects to the vehicle but won't log

Weird stuff does happen and HPT is updated on pretty much on a daily basis.

Yeah, can't hurt to re-download/re-install. They have a new version released every day

Very weird that you could flash but not scan

If it keeps happening probably it's best to contact support directly

Do I need to uninstall 3.2 then redownload or just reinstall from the update section off hptuners.com?

The new versions come out around 9am. So wait until then and then just download the latest version and install. It will overwrite your current version no problem.

Still waiting on support. What did change with the update is it will log when you hit the start logging symbol. It just won't log real time.

I don't understand. The "start scanning" button is what starts real time logging, which you said works..

I'm trying to explain this bare with me lol. Before when I would connect the vehicle it would log/show the vehicles parameters while running immediately. Now it will not. It will only log when I hit the start button.

Just hit the record button then; that's what it is supposed to do.

When you hit record it will connect to the vehicle automatically, so you only need to hit one thing to start logging. No need to hit connect to vehicle first.

It just worked differently before with the standard box. Does the pro and standard box react differently? Maybe that's what the deal is. I would use the standard before to monitor parameters while driving without having to hit the start log button.

No.... you have to hit start logging no matter what version of the interface or software you're using. It's always been like that, it has never automatically started logging
