why would raw voltage pid show 1.289V even w/o anything plugged into eio?

is this normal? Im having issues w/ my LC1 and i cannt get a steady raw voltage even after flatlining the LC1 at 2.5 or .5 V etc. The output of the LC1 is correct and stable and when i hook up a AA battery to the EIO input 1, i get a steady 1.601V using both battery ground and EIO ground.

The EIO will read 1.2ish with nothing connected. The A/D buffer chip has internal bias and that is where it floats.

The EIO is high resolution and will read whatever is on the input. So if the LC1 has a ripple on the output, it will show up in the scanner.
