    MAF fail with no MIL

I have read lots and lots but propably my english is to weak to get this right. I want to put the PCM in SD mode and avoid seeing MIL and SES lights (MAF Fail set to 0), infos ect. on IP panel.
In DTC can i un-tick "SES enable" and set to "No MIL lamp" ? Will it keep SD mode? Same for 3/4gen PCM?

    best regards

Set DTC's to Mil on First Error P0101, P0102. P0103 (Failover to speed density). Un-tick SES (No mil light). Set maf fail high to 1 (Fail the maf).

    Which PCM are you using?

Set p0101, 103, 103 to MIL on first error

    Uncheck the SES light option

Set MAF fail high frequnecy to something like 1hz

    And that should do it

For those of us that live in emission states (booo) like Colorado. Is there a way to disable the code permanently and leave the car in SD mode? When they do the IM240 I am afraid they will fail me when the P0103 sets in the computer even with MIL turned off.
    Thanks for your help

Try setting it to no error reported, do the test and then set it back to fail on first error when you are done.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

i tried all of Your suggestions still DIC still displays Service Vechicle Soon and only Error Code is regarding MAF that is P0102 (when maf removed). If i plug MAF it sets P0103 code. This the only car i'm having such problem. Any ideas ?

    best regards

"service vehicle soon", is different from "service engine soon" you likely have an issue somewhere else within car, either body control module, a/c control module, etc, etc. need to locate a professional scanner that can read all the codes in the other modules

GM Tech2 - only P0102, no other codes i any system
DIC way - only P0102, no other codes i any system
Autel MotPro - only P0102, no other codes i any system

i run workshop and use only professional scanners that read all systems.

You don't need P0102 to switch to SD. Set it to No Error Reported, then set MAF Fail Hi Freq to 0
Even with the MAF not present the PCM will switch to SD after the P0103 sets
