    2016 cts vsport tuning pointers cam/ ignition timing direction. Boost level.

    Been tuning my ats 2.0t for last 3 years and traded on a vsport. A lot looks very similar to the ats for tables so sure I can play with it and get it going just wanted to see if could get recommendations on timing max boost safe I have heard 18 on a lot of these as atsv is 18 stock. So pretty good with throttle closing issues or false kr if these have false like the ats had. Just some pointers maybe injection timing If played with as I did on my ats but had big turbo and was way up on timing from stock. This runs a decent amount stock but table is a mess pulls 2 degrees in middle of table for 400 rpm then puts it back so weird stuff I am seeing. Any help would be awesome.

    Nothing? I did my ats and had great luck so if got to go at it alone so be it but figured someone would want to talk about it now that the v8 car is 100k this platform will become the more popular combo plus the atsv using a similar setup. I always seem to get more info in thd v8 section even on other questions. Maybe try there too.

    I got all that down pretty much but no idea about ignition cam and injection timing things that it may like and respond to. Injection timing is the big one as just no clue of a direction seen some say go up others retard it either way u want it spraying right when valve opens I assume just figuring that out once play with timing and cam timing.

    So struggling with boost now I can see 16 on peak or a spike but 12-13 is what is seems to be stopping at. Any ideas?? I raised all you mentioned and others that I Had done to the ats and had luck but here its not responding the same.

    Any chance some one could share some basics of boost control on these CTS-V sports. None of the posts on this subject seem to have a resolution or at least they are not sharing it. Lots of questions bu few answers.

    any update on this.. pointers with cam angles ?
