I just purchased a new to me 2008 silverado 2500 with the lmm duramax. The previous owner had someone with a efi live v2 do a 5 position tune with a switch. He didn't have the speedo calibrated for whatever reason for the bigger tires, and it's way off. I have hp tuners pro that I use on gas cars and trucks but know it's capable of tuning duramax diesels. Will my hp tuners read the ecm with the custom OS or am I SOL. The tuner isn't anywhere near me nor can I get in contact with him. I know I can recalibrate the speedo with units such as edge insight cts2, but I already have hp tuners so it would be nice to use what I have if at all possible. Thanks for any help.
