6L and CT Downshift causing huge timing swings?

Why does it do this, see gear change, then CT Downshift and timing goes -20 +25 - 18+28 Id Id swear its contributing to some stalling coming to a stop. Where is it mathing this from and why in the world would it do this? Turn Tip in CT Down or Master CT Down switch off I guess? Not sure why it would want 20 - 90 -20-110 ft lbs of torque in span of 2 seconds
