Anyone have X7F negative response errors that are not tuner locked?

Ive been getting these more frequently lately, updated to today version still does it, files that I have flashed before, completely intermittent. Sometimes just connecting scanner, and retrying it will magically write, after disconnecting hardware, rebooting, etc etc many times over for a half hour? Very odd, and not just one car Ive had do this

I would recommend trying a new USB cable, I believe these errors are usually caused due to connection/voltage related issues. If that doesn't fix the issue though please email support at hptuners.com, be sure to include an infolog while connected to the vehicle in question.

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

are we expected to purchase and try a new cable each time this happens? anything else to try? ive had this unit for 5 days and ive spent ALL of the last 2 days trying everything to write the computer with no luck. I wrote back to back 5 times, minutes apart between drives and now I'm locked out. I can still data log without issue. Ive pulled every fuse out of the fuse box and only run the fuse that powers the OBD 2 port and still no love. Battery charged 100%, tried it with the charger hooked up to the car as well...
