Are you seeing any knock retard in your logs? Did you change your timing in the idle areas? What else did you change?

Is the detonation at part throttle or wot? I'd back off the timing for sure in any areas where you're getting detonation. Also try giving it some more fuel if its in pe mode.

405HP_Z06, yes i did change it a bit in idling. I did some other stuff in air flow to make it idle nicely.

luv2spd, yeah in a part throttle. In WOT i cant really tell, but i guess its there some where.

"I'd back off the timing for sure in any areas where you're getting detonation. Also try giving it some more fuel if its in pe mode" Guide me how PLZZZ!!

    Re: DETONATION!

you need to run a log with the scanner... and see where and how much
    knock retard you are getting...

doo some wot runns in each gear...

and adjust the fuel in the pe table up in those areas...

make small adjustments until it's gone... if you can't rid it with
    fuel, back the advance up...

look at the log files for the Ltft's and see if the are positive...
do someruns at 19% throttle positioning and make sure
there the ltft's are zero to -5

if they are positve add to your maf table in slow increment,
    and re log, and continue...

read this article in chevy hiproformance...

it will give you some base knowledge....

do some logging, and read it again... things will make more sense
    after experience...

    Re: DETONATION!

    PE = Power Enrichment

it is a good place to bump the numbers up to increase the fuel to air ratio... and that should eliminate your knock retard.

I tuned my to be rpm specific... because i was only getting
KR ar 4400 rpm... so from 4000 up i bumped it up a few percent...
then tested and repeated until the KR was gone.
