    Variable Cam Spark

I noticed on my 07 Silverado I have a spark table named variable cam spark. My question is what exactly should I do with this. Do I just leave it be. I logged it and it does add to the base advance. Anyhow, just wondering if anybody has any experience with th vc spark.

Does your engine have a VVT camshaft?
If so it adds/subtracts spark based on camshaft position.

I believe I do have vvt. It is an 07 NBS with the L76 engine and L92 heads. I do know the Variable cam spark is adding to the base. I just do not know how to work with it.

i zeroed the table at my max rpm, and 1.36 grams of air.... detonation problems gone!!! just smoothed out the rest of the table... runs great!!

Sluggish performance when the camshaft moves around.
I usually attack the variable cam spark after I work the main table. If KR pops up afterwards it's VCS.

If I add timing to the High Octane spark table should I be adding the same amount of timing to the Variable Cam Spark table as well? That makes sense to me but I'm new at this

No. VCP Spark is a modifier and some part of it adds to the main spark.
