07 aspen 5.7 mds delete

how do you turn them off I removed them and put plugs in. I turned off the egr but I cant find the mds stuff any info on that thanks

Fuel>general its in the top left corner. It says MDS Enable/Disable

Did you get any error codes after you did the MDS delete? I am planning on doing the same on my 07 Durango 5.7 - basically same vehicle, fewer bells and whistles ....

There shouldn’t be any codes after deactivation.
If it’s deleted by hardware I turn off the codes for it to avoid problems by technical inspection's.

Thank you. I saw on another post where they set VSS min to max on a 2009 RAM1500 Hemi instead of Disabling the MDS.

This is what they did on the 2009 Ram1500 Hemi:

This is what I see in my 2007 Dodge Durango 5.7 Hemi:

Is setting the VSS Min to 128 mph a better option than to Disable the MDS?
