    WHAT IS 'MAP INSTALLED' option!?!?!?

In HP TUNERS, for a 2012 Ford Raptor 6.2L, under /Airflow/General/ there is a button for MAP Sensor Fitted or not fitted. Could someone please explain what this does? What does it change? Where can the MAP be installed at? Any sort of information here??? Thanks.

just means your application is a maf only based system ie it doesn't use a map sensor.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

@Bill@HPTuners Thank you, but it gives me the option to say, 'fitted'. Does this mean that I can install one now?

Almost guaranteed its never as simple as turning on the switch and throwing in a map sensor, but good luck with that

I understand that one for sure. Just looking for further pin outs that I can utilize. I'm working on doing this with a software change. idapro.PNG

There's not a real good way to figure out if the logic for map reference was ever built into the factory strategy. If it was, it would need defined in HPTuners to be edited. If you're hitting a wall with the factory MAF/PCM I suggest switching to an aftermarket standalone like AEM EMS.

I'm kind of curious of the need to install a map sensor over just using the factory maf...
