    SS 350 Truck with ATI, MAFless questions

    A friend of mine is tuning a SS 350 truck with a 2bar HPTuner system and an ATI SC. I have a couple of questions...

    Will he be able to do MAFless with the automatic trans???

    IF so, what is the best way to disable the MAF in a permanent way???

    Dont see why not, plenty of cars run mafless including my auto

    If you unplug the MAF , its disabled pretty permanently (until you plug it back in that is) If you want to leave it plugged in then just set the MAF Fail frequency to 0. (NOT the maf frequency table to 0)

    Is your IAT part of your MAF ? If it is , you may need to keep some wiring there, or retro wire it to a normal IAT sensor.(I believe that is what other ppl do from reading the forums)
