    "file failed validation check"

    I am trying to open a file in VCM 2.1.12 and keep getting the following error "file failed validation check". Can anyone tell me what causes that?

    I have VCM installed on two computers... on one it loads fine and the other it doesnt. So I dont think its the file...I have tried uninstallng and reinstalling the software, with no luck.

    2.1.13 beta has a new hpt file format, per the "whats new" in the help files.

    Run the latest version of code. I guess the HPT file are forward compatible but not backward compatible. You will need to run 2.1.13 beta.

    correct, they had to change their formatting a bit recently to accomodate "things".
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
