    PE table comparison...

I have attached a file of three PE tables. One is the factory setting for my Z06, one is from a tune done by LG, and the other is one that I came up with after reading some posts by various people on this site.

There is not one similarity between them. Is everyone doing this based off different theories, or is there a standard that I am missing? Don't get caught up in the numbers, as different engines like different numbers, but the trends should be the same. Shouldn't they?

Yours looks the most normal compared to mine and others I've seen...the LG tune is kinda wierd by my thinking but would be safe. the OEM Z06 tune just looks freakin' wierd

You also need to look at your PE enable values to see where/when PE is invoked. Some of what you're seeing will never happen.

What do you mean it will never happen?

    TPS threshold

    Are these too high?

On my 2001 ZO6 cam/header car, I set the eq to 1.13, the tps to 75% at all rpm's and the delay rpm to 0. Then using a wideband O2, set the actual afr to 13.0 at all rpm's. Make sure the stoich afr is set to 14.68 and the OLFA table is 1.00 at operating temp (all map loads). This will make for a 14.68 commanded afr in none PE mode and 13.0 commanded afr in PE.

You will never see PE under 2K RPM. If your driving style includes jumping on it during a rolling start, set the RPM delay to 0 or 1000. Your PE is a little fat at low RPM. Try 13.0, or so. Others may have a different opinion. Your TPS ramp looks fine.

Is PE hysteresis referring to the difference in tps% to fall out of PE? ie..@6% hysteresis then it will take a 6% difference in TPS to get out of PE and into PE?
On another vehicle i have a PE enable map hysteresis,i am guessing this is same concept but it must show a x% difference in the MAP to enable/disable PE??

The map hysteresis is the value subtracted from the map enable value. If your map enable is 75 kpa and the hysterisis is 6 kpa, then if the map drops to 69 kpa while in pe, then the pe will be disabled.

Never saw a tps hysterisis on any V6 or V8 vehicles.
