    05 gto idle issues

After about 6 months of going through couple different tranny companies I find out that everyone seems to think with the cam I have or 600 plus lift cams rather tend to make too much vibration and cause a slight rattling in my brand new T56 Magnum... anyways long story short I have been attempting to smooth my idol out a bit not to mention being the first time using hptuners it's a little more difficult than I anticipated my tune is very good no KR at all throughout the whole RPM range but my idle sounds a little blurbly and Shakes the hell out of the car and everything else I raise my idle from 800 to 9:50 and I started adjusting some air flow tables it seem to get better but I think it can actually get even better than what I can get it anyways any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated I do have logs and I do have my HPT file ... thanks for anyone who takes the time to reply

    Yes, post what you have.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I believe you could use some more air in your base running airflow table in the 600 to 1000 rpm columns. Under spark-advance-spark smoothing, make that enabled. I would start at 18 degrees base idle timing, add some air and see what that does. What are the specs on that cam? I don't thing that is making noise in your trans unless you are new to manual trans. Check your injector data and make sure it is correct

If you have an aftermarket shifter, they tend to rattle also as most of them are direct shift with no linkage. Is the trans full of fluid?

Do you have a larger aftermarket throttle body ? Your etc scalar is bigger numbers than a 90mm

I guess a list of mods would of been appropriate...

Ls2 stock ci forged rods and pistons

Snl performance vx cam, 7.425 rods, AI 243s, Tci udp , ported fast 102 intake , 42lb injectors, ported TB , kooks 1 7/8 headers with catless mids, spintech x , bassani resonators, lev 5 t56 magnum , mgw-p shifter , pst 1 piece ds and I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff but that pretty much sums it up

The Proxes shifter vibrates because it is a direct shift. The shifter is metal to metal in the trans. The only thing you can do is wrap the threads for the shifter ball with Teflon tape . Sometimes that helps and sometimes it doesn't. You might try lowering your ETC Scalar back towards stock numbers and see if that makes idle easier to tune. I'm guessing that the ported tb is a stock one? Check your injector data, looks like you have 36# injectors.
