Why my car is throwing this code-p1637 generator L - Terminal Circuit (pending)(history)(immature)

Will this cause my car to turn off sometimes, the car is driving good but from no where when i shift to revers the car wants to turn off.

Ever find a solution?? I'm working on a procharged 2004 Silverado that will run fine until I get this code. It will run rough and backfire. Bank 1 will show extremely lean and bank 2 rich. I also get injector circuit, mad low circuit range, and knock sensor low circuit cels. Battery is new and alternator is doing its job. Checked the wire from the alt to the red power box and looks fine, even though it's not the original wire. Don't know where else to look.

Bump. Sorry to drag up an old post, but I am having issues that are intermittent along with this code. My camaro has been v8 swapped for about a year now, and there is just something not right.
