    MPVI2 modified tune won?t open with MPVI1 software?

    Sorry if this has already been addressed, I searched and can?t seem to find it.
    I have MPVI1 and using VCM software version 3.4.17 that came with it.
    My remote tuner modified a tune and emailed it back to me. When I try to open it I get a dialog box stating:
    ?Unable to open file. Unsupported or newer version detected. Please update your software?

    My question is, if I update to the new software version, will I still be able to access the tunes I have saved, and will it work the same with my MPVI1 hardware?

    Update your software, 3.4 is no longer supported and is very old software.
