Newbie here...
I updated the transmission in my LS swapped 72K10 from a TH350 to a 4l60E. Didn't do the 4L80e because I wanted to keep the np205 27 spline.
Anyway I use a Dakota digital pass thru 8k generator (SEN-01-4160) on the speedo wire. Also have a Dakota digital 5G1-5E interface to adjust the 8k signal to 128,000 for fuel injected vehicle. I segment swapped the transmission values from a 5.3/4l60E as I couldn't find a 6.0 LQ4 with a 4l60e as a starting point. I adjusted the "Trans revs per mile" to get the tranny to shift decent...torque converter lock up is vibrating slightly, and tranny did not downshft (just once) when coming to a full stop... I can't get a stock VSS because of the transfer case. Should I remove the 5G1-5E and just use the 8K signal? Thanks.
