Calculated engine load and calculated torque

Does anyone know how the following is calculated:

Calculated Engine Load (SAE)
Absolute Load (SAE)

Also, how does the ECU calculate torque, and is there any variable in that formula that could be affected by a change to a larger fuel injector?

I think I'm chasing some sort of torque management issue where the engine appears to be pulling timing when Driver Demand Torque exceeds Trans Engine Torque (calculated I assume).

Only change from stock is larger injector with associated PW and Fuel Mass table adjustments.

Torque Model page has an Aircharge to Torque table. I'd guess this is the source of the calculated load.
